Lime essential oil has a fresh, sweet citrus peel odor. The peel of a fruit growing on a small evergreen tree is cold-pressed to obtain the oil. Originally from Asia, lime is cultivated in many warm countries, including those in the Americas. When diffused, it may help with mental fatigue, depression and apathy.
