About the Plant:
While the Juniper Berry might look like the blueberry, they are in fact very different species. The Juniper Berries are tiny, hard blueberries that grow in central Europe on an evergreen shrub that can reach 18 feet in height. The bush has beautiful silvery-green needles with little white flowers.
Juniper is a slow-growing evergreen shrub with slender, smooth twigs and needle-like leaves groups in whorls of three. However, the Essential Oil is mostly extracted from the berries since they release a higher quality oil.
Juniper Berry Essential Oil is known for its woody, spicy, and slightly camphoraceous aroma. In aromatherapy, this oil is believed to provide a grounding and calming effect that can help balance emotions and support mental health.*
