Organic oregano essential oil (also known as "oil of oregano") is steam distilled from the dried flowers of a plant growing in the Mediterranean area. Several species of oregano are used to produce essential oils. It is used to treat conditions of the upper and lower respiratory tract, as well as influenza. It is a very strong oil and can irritate the skin, but when diluted it can be used as a natural treatment to heal skin conditions such as psoriasis and massage painful joints.

Organic oregano essential oil (also known as "oil of oregano") is steam distilled from the dried flowers of a plant growing in the Mediterranean area. Several species of oregano are used to produce essential oils.

It is used to treat conditions of the upper and lower respiratory tract, as well as influenza.

It is a very strong oil and can irritate the skin, but when diluted it can be used as a natural treatment to heal skin conditions such as psoriasis and massage painful joints.

Athlete's Foot: Dilute to a maximum of 3-5% in a carrier oil (15-25 drops per tablespoon) and apply to affected areas.

Fungal nail infections: Dilute to a maximum of 5% in a carrier oil (25 drops per tablespoon) and apply to infected nail.

Psoriasis: Dilute to a maximum of 1% in a carrier oil (5 drops per tablespoon) and apply to affected areas. Ideally it should be diluted with a carrier oil that is also good for psoriasis such as Avocado oil.
