Safety Precautions
Avoid during pregnancy.
Also known as Mountain Savory and Winter Savory, the essential oil is steam distilled from a plant native to Europe and North Africa. The essential oil is considered to be antibacterial, anti-fungal and antioxidant. It is a warming, stimulating oil that is used to treat arthritis. It stimulates the immune system and can be pain relieving. However, it is a strong, possibly irritating oil; it is important to dilute it and also test for dermal irritation before using topically.
